Little Big Planet: Sackboy Modelling

This is a sackboy, from the well known Playstation 3 game: Little Big Planet. The Sackboy was modelled in Cinema 4D, for my Advanced Higher Graphics portfolio.

Testing out a plugin on cinema 4d called Thrausi. Which takes any form of object and breaks it up into as many pieces as you like. I then took the background and text into photoshop. Layered it up and added some optical flares.

Created the shape and the word “Carbon” in cinema 4d then imported the image into photoshop. I then took them into photoshop, added a background. Placed a transparent white box over the background layer and then added a flare to the text.

Just a quick DB (Desktop Background) i did using cinema 4d and photoshop. I created the spheres in cinema 4d and added the background colour, text and enhanced the look of the colours in photoshop

Just a test for using an image as the text material instead of solid colour. I then took it into photoshop and used colour curves to get a greater contrast and added some sparks and smoke to add to the image.

Here is a desktop background i created. After i created the scene and text i took the rendered image into photoshop and edited the colour with colour curves (i made the lights lighter and the darks darker)
